So what's the "big exciting announcement" going to be about?

 

A new pitch fork for Norton? The Halfway Line sign is going to be illuminated? Or Kilcullen is dying his hair red?

 

Personally I would like to see a rather large net erected behind all the stands to catch the balls, especially the Stonebridge Road side. How many accidents have there been?

Think it may be something contentious , as they want a meeting with all associated before announcing. Renaming maybe?

Sponsorship deal or New Stadium I reckon....my money would be on the sponsorship deal.

 

If it is a three year deal maybe we can persuade some of the players to sign for more than one season and get some continuity.

I would have thought a sponsership deal would be announced to public. I may be something that on the face off it is contentious and the directors want to explain the decision.

I could not imagine that any sponsership would be that contentious. After all it just a name on a front of a shirt and some cash! Unless its a company that supports animal testing or some such activity, or may a defence company.

Sigh! I am fully aware of Dartfords new ground. Hence the comment. I meant us sharing Dartfords new ground.

Yes because Margate were so succesful with their groundshare at Dover, or Maidstone at Dartford or even Dartford at our place the list of succesful groundshares just goes on and on.
We would struggle to get 500 if we played in Dartford. Unless the board are Lemmings it would be surprising if after such a succesful season they decided the club should commit suicide.

I know it is bad enough at the cricket. Apart from the black stuff, its all Shephed Neame and Shephed Neame only in the bars. There is even a ban on taking you own in for one day games this year too! It would a major pain to have to drink that rubbish all summer and all winter too!!
