Race night thank you

Once again it was a good night. Thanks to "Cookie" for his Stirling work on the races(honest numbers 3&6 were only coincidences),"John Parker" for being Cashier, "Tam" and "Laura" behind the bar and, last but least "Jackie" for her hard work in the Kitchen.

Thanks to the supporters "Frankie 100","Taffy Alan", "Joseba" and wife, "DJW", "Different Game" and the elusive "Reserve player". If there was anyone else who i did not recognise please accept my apologise.

Special thanks also goes out to "Frankie 100" and "Taffy Alan" for sponsoring the Margate British Legion meeting and Race 8 respectivly.

The final total raised including sponsorship was £478-00p.

Must add the funniest part of the evening was Frankie in the last race when the horses were being auctioned bidding against himself, very funny!

Could not help that as Cookie confused me by saying the next figure and point behind me, so I thought someone had offered that amount.

Luckily I stopped after the 5th bid I did in a row.

A big thanks from the U18's team to everyone who made this night a great success, without this support it makes running the Reserves and U18's expensive.

A very enjoyable night, look forward to more nights at Hartsdown.

With a bit more advertising, and allowing kids in should return a better audience.
