With regard to the bad winners- bad losers thing. We at Langford rarely get a chance to be bad winners, and have been on the end of two defeats by Hertford, and what their fans consider to be 'banter' directed at opposition players, is I believe, considered by some of those players as disrespect and intimidation, and this is when problems occur. Us two langford supporters enjoy the banter, but we are considerably older than the players who are in the heat of the moment, indeed yesterday there was good hearted banter when Edgware's Manager came on and had a penalty saved, but at no stage during the game did the Edgware fans feel the need to do anything other than support their team, in my opinion a BIG club in more ways than one and we wish them the best in the Rymans.

Basically, at the Concord Rangers game, the "victorious" Concord players threw the contents of their water bottles over some 80+ year old supporters behind the goal and one of them took exception. The Concord players then tried to trash the away dressing room by punching holes in the ceiling. Nice.


I cannot imagine anyone 80+ standing behind a goal during a game....

Thank you for you kind comments MIKO, I am sure I must have met you as I was in the Langford boardroom after the match. Langford have a nice set up, in fact one of the best in the league, a VERY spacious nice clubhouse and a nice boradroom, and the ground is nice and tidy with a small seating stand and modern wall around the playing area. The people were VERY friendly, and I wish Langford all the best for the future.

Hello Bramley mate, looking forward to tomorrow night, and meeting up with you again. Dont forget the match is being filmed so we will have to make even more noise then we usually do!
