Best way to Hendon

Please!

Going up by car now & I see the probable best route though possibly not the quickest is around the M25 & down the A1 at the point where the M25 meets the M1.Is there a more direct route through London(taking into account any possible traffic problems),maybe through the Blackwall Tunnel for instance?

Would be obliged for any help with this,otherwise the first route will probably be my option. Any suggestions? Thanks

That is the best way cookie I lived that way for nearly 30 years I know. I worked there a month ago and it took me 1-45mins to get to hendon college early in the mourning I would leave Margate around twelve and stop at south mimms services if your early, there's a coffee shop burger king. KFC. etc etc its only about 15mins from south mimms to Hendon

Wish I was going myself but got hse test on Saturday.

 

Dont try and go through London it is like buying a lottery ticket no f-cking chance.

JJ has confused me a little as I m told the north circular is very busy these days.Thank you Wellsie.I'll take yours & Tonys route to be on the safe side. Via M2 Dartford Tunnel & M25 it is then.As for going through,London,

Cookie - recommended route from Hendon website:

By Car:

Travel to Junction 1 of the M1, and take the 2nd exit on the roundabout, a minor road called Tilling road. Travel over 3 mini-roundabouts before turning right at the 4th mini-roundabout into Claremont Road. Our ground is less than half a mile up the road on your left.
