AFC Wimbledon were deducted 3 points for fielding one dodgey player, so West Ham should be deducted 6 points for fielding two. There is also the issue of playing one of them in the F.A.Cup game against Brighton. Chucked out for next season?

This could not come at a worse time or West Ham given their current league position and the difficult run-in.

I wonder if they will appeal any points deduction like AFC Wimbledon did.

I assume that there is a set penalty in the Premier League rules.

Whatever the outcome, West Ham's problems started in August and not this week.
