AFC HORNCHURCH

PRESS RELEASE

The club are delighted to announce the following decisions that have been made during the past few days with a view to taking the club forward next season both on and off the pitch.

Grant Beglan will take over the executive role of Club Chairman as from the end of this season. Grant has a wealth of experience in the higher levels of non league football and was the driving force with Colin McBride at Thurrock as they rose through the football pyramid, enjoying considerable success along the way.

New sponsorships have been agreed for next season, to run alongside of the existing sponsors, that will bring much need Revenue into the club. Details of these corporate arrangements will be announced in due course in line with the agreements reached with the Companies concerned and their own PR advisors.

The playing budgets for next seasons campaign have been agreed, albeit not yet formalised, which will take place at the first board meeting Chaired by Grant Beglan. It is fully expected that the agreed budgets will enable the club to be competitive in the Ryman Premier League.

Colin McBride and his entire management team will be with the club next season and are fully committed to and are enthusiastic about the long term plans and future of our football club.

Colin McBride is looking to sign three or four players in the close season to compliment this seasons double winning side. The new signings will be announced shortly, as they happen, in the close season.

Myself and my existing staff, management and officials at the club will remain and we all look forward very much to working alongside of Grant Beglan as a new era begins for the club.
