Our freinds from Slough,

I have put a couple of posts up on the www.hamptonfc.com Supporters Team Forum to try and get confirmation that this game is on for 5pm next Saturday. With any luck our men who have a say in Stadium matters will get back soon and we can confirm game on.

Please keep an eye on our forum for the latest news and all being well it would be great welcome you all into the club bar afterwards for a beer or three.

That sounds good Gary. I have a copy of the last video where the camerawoman, your good lady wife I believe, takes a phone call during the commentary and discusses her perfume order from duty free!!!!!!!!!!!

The game against you was very early in our exsistence. At the time it was pretty much our best squad. From memory and having watched the DVD i thought it was a pretty close game. You caught us early with two goals and once we got into the game we had some decent chances to level up. Second half was again very even and both teams could have notched had it not been for good goalkeeping and last ditch defending.

At the time only myself and the keeper had played any sort of organised football before the first few Beavers FC games. Since then all the lads have improved with the expierience and know more about what they should be doing and when. We've also added a few new players with some footballing expierience - namely some of my sunday side - who have taken to watching the Beavers a bit as the season has progressed.

We absolutely smashed AFC Dons the second time around. We didn't even have to rely on our excellent keeper as they hardly had a sniff. If we get our best team out then we have a good side and can play some nice football. It's just if we can get the full team out as people work and have other commitments.

Sadly you won't get to play against the full force of 'Team Beaver' but I'm sure it will be a decent game with plenty of merryment afterwards whatever the result.
