The Ryman Leagues definition of "Confirmed" is obviously different to that in popular usage. I'm going to struggle with that Monday. Just hope Chelmo lose and we get enough to go above them.

yep...if its a Chelmo v AFC final at Layer(as some are saying)could well be 5000 plus, all games will have 4 fig gates especially if Hampton,as champs, are not in it and Bromley are.

Sods law and bloody AFC will win it...would even prefer Chelmo over those cheatin' £$%$.

I wasnt saying Chelmo would beat you,by the way, just what could happen and lets be honest both clubs dwarf the others attendence wise...even Bromley.

It is a bit odd that once again some clubs seem to be able to change things as they see fit.

That said if we had to play Chelmsford away the day earlier fixture could be to our advantage.

The final should be on the Saturday whatever happens.

Let's get there first tho!!!

Clubs can't change things at will, they have to be agreed by the League

So, that infers that the League did agree to any Home Semi-Final Chelmo are involved in being pulled forwards a day to Monday. I still think that them losing Home advantage is a better option grin

A semi on the Monday followed by a Final on the Saturday gives an extra day or two to recover so maybe isn't all bad. Just annoying that I've had the original dates in my diary all season and planned work around them! But I suppose it's no worse than Cup replays being organised at short-notice. There's even talk on the Soppybox of a Bank Holiday Monday Final if Chelmo should get there and are the Home team.

Ahhh... Sarcasm. The highest form of wit, in my opinion; but only when done well.

Mr Pharmasist - Easy fella. Never knock Anyone who puts in time and effort for "whatever" club(S) we all follow. Tis only a message board grin

Now then, either way i have also been cunning - I have a deal going with myself meaning "if" we make the playoffs I will be there, and if not i will not be.
