Hi everyone,

 

I have kept in touch with your results and i REALLY hope that you make the playoffs this weekend.

A fantastic season after all the turbulence this time last year, well done to Batchy on a great season and the directors and supporters for making it happen.

Perhaps i should have stayed for a promotion push rather than a relegation one.

Yours will be the first result i ask for on Saturday (after Altrincham, Stafford, Grays, Halifax, Grays etc).

Hi Paula,

 

I was hoping to attend Freds funeral on Friday but had a really busy week with a big game for us at Aldershot the following day.

It was great to see our 923 supporters outsinging the home fans in their own stadium (payback for me and all the times we went there) .

Everytime we havent played you havent or have been away, will certainly attend playoffs or maybe the presentation evening. (if i can get a ticket or even invited).

923? We did that with 8 when we scored 2 in the last 5 mins last year!!

That aldershot last game away with 8 of us was my favourite Canvey game to date, superb!

No about 40 but there was only 8 of us actually doing any singing.

First time back since my last post, been a very long (and heavy drinking) weekend since our survival mission was completed on Saturday.

 

Very sorry to hear of your defeat when i phoned Glen on saturday night, put a dampener on my evening!

I am sure after your first years experience at this level you will achieve the ultimate goal next year and gain promotion.

 

On a lighter note i played at the Abbey Stadium on Sunday in a Staff/Players vs Supporters match and surprise surprise i was rubbish!!

One of the CUFC players said i should have retired after the Canvey game as i looked good for those 7 minutes.

 

You wont be dissapointed to hear i tried the trademark dive in the box and got nothing. The ref said i was looking for it, what do these referees know these days.
