we shouldve taken something from that game, we had quite a few chances to get a goal, including a penalty saved from john mills (why he took it i have no idea), but conceded two sloppy goals. the team performance was very good though with all the players playing well.

 

apparently hampton drew 2-2 with heybridge tonight.

Thats our first pen of the season as well.... bloody hell!

Good fun in the second half where we should have scored on a number of occasions. After a Donovan o.g. and Dennison fumbled another into his own net, we had a good go, playing some good football (really) and making chances for Bartley, Nsubuga, and Daly who had one cleared off the line. Hale went close with a long range dipper too. If the penalty from Mills had gone in, who knows.

 

On to Saturday when we beat Hampton and consign them to the playoffs! Let's turn out in numbers and give it one last go at supporting the boys.
