Predictions vs. Hendon (and others as well).

Right, so slight twist on this prediction thread: our game vs. Hendon, AFC Dons away at East Thurrock, and Billericay at home to Leyton.

I'll get the ball rolling. Firstly, I think we will achieve the scrappy win we need to keep us in the hunt: 2-1 away victory for me.

Secondly, I can't see the 'Ricay having any trouble disposing of Leyton, so a home win there for me.

Thirdly, and many will say I'm dreaming, but a little optimism never did any harm, I think the Dons will slip up at East Thurrock. It is not easy on that pitch and both teams are inconsistent. So I am going for a 1-1 draw there.

And, as such, we would scrape into 5th place. Where, of course, we would go on to win the playoffs!

Keep the faith!!

Ricay win,AFC win and Margate win.

Chelmsford lose, but we miss out to Chelmsford on goal difference, and regret letting 4 in at harrow and even worse the 6 at Boreham Wood.

Attacks win you games and battles, defences win you leagues and wars.

Billericay are at Home! Easy 4-1 victory for them.

AFC Wimbledon are the ones we have to look at but I cant see them faltering. 3-1 victory to them.

As for us I think we will win 3-2 with Danny getting 2 goals to take him above John Maine in the scorers chart.

We've had so many chances that it makes you wonder if maybe its MEANT to be our spot but on the other hand have we had just one chance too many?

Funny game football & nothing would surprise me on Saturday.

Heres hoping we do our bit at least & go down with a bang rather than with a wimper. Why make it easy for the others.

Come on the "Gate"!, Come on those other miracles!

Is he? I thought he was ONE behind for the NON league award! I'm not talking about the Ryman League award Jane. He's THREE in front with that one I believe.

Haven't looked yet for your score. What did you lose by? I'll take a mosy right now!...........................Just looked. Lost 3-1 then. Shame! Never mind!

I meant the Ryman League Golden Boot Cookie. It's Danny's now. And the Non League after Saturday i expect.

We lost 3-1 today. Great first half. Exciting end to end stuff. I was really worried before the kick off. But, we acquitted ourselves well and both teams were really up for it. Chances at both ends and some good footy. Then.....Right in the last minute of the half we gave away a 'soft' pen.

2nd half they came out and got another 2 quick goals and then outclassed us. To our credit we never gave up. Tonight showed the difference between a team pushing for promotion and a team new to the Prem and ready to consolidate for next season grin

HENDON 0 HAWORTH 1 if we realy really really want to win it!

EAST THURROCK 1 AFC 1

LEYTON 0 BILLERICAY 2

I predict mayhem on Saturday!Flat mobile phones trying to get the scores from elsewhere.

And lots of tears - of joy from Blues and of sadness from Hendon fans watching their team playing their last game at the ground!

Abdullah the Gate!
