Will it be restocking before Saturday's game.

 

There didn't seem to be any lager or bitter last week and, seeing as we are playing Weymouth, has any extra cider been ordered?

I personally hope they don't restock as under the present regime I have not had a decent pint yet. In fact the last one was so rubbish I have stopped going there.

Then again maybe they wont because it mght be their last game. ever.

Concerns over the 'arrangements' regarding the bar were raised by fans at the Fans Forum at Christmas. There was a strength of feeling, and Gibbo responded to the effect that, firstly he wasn't aware of any difficulties, secondly it is difficult to make changes mid-season, and thirdly that he would look into the issues raised at the meeting during the rest of the season.

 

That bearded chap who is Chairman of the Supporters Club Committee spoke briefly and confirmed that there had been unease expressed, and I think, although I cannot be sure as I couldn't hear everything that was said, that he and Gibbo were to discuss the matter at a forthcoming board meeting.

Do you mean 'Verry' limited support for the Ale?

As a 'northern monkey' myself I only drink bitter and I always go for real ale wherever possible. There should be support for cask ales at Clarence Park as it's in the home city of CAMRA!

I had several pints of Terrier before the game in the York clubhouse as it seemed the only alternative to "any pub brews" . Blimey they could sell that stuff in competition with Senna!

A lot of people go elsewhere before & after games (Quite a few go to the Crown). As for past times there is hope that Mr McCord will take over running the bar again in the future !

My SACFC Player of the Season is Paul Bastock. I only got to 14 games this season but I never saw him have a bad game (unfortunately I also saw his two great performances v York City). If others agree with my choice the end of season awards may have a touch of deja vu about them.

Real Ale would only be good in the bar, but during our travels this season i've become quite a fan of Dark Mild. Best pint of the season has to be York Brewery's Centurion Ghost Ale.

Looking ahead the trip to Lewes will be good. I found a draught perry in the pub near the ground last time. (-:
