Can't see more than one going up from the ESL to Rym1N Small One as they also have to accommodate one from the Ridgeons I believe unless they increase the rel/prom to three overall with 2/3 from ESL and 2/3 from Ridgeons in a play off for one more place.

In my view, Clacton, Stanway, Harwich and even Halstead are too far away for sensible consideration but then when did sense play apart in the world of non-league football. And has Coup has already pointed out SW for some reason (does anyone know why) hate the ESL passionately and would never countenance moving back I suspect.

I bet our dear LC is waiting with baited breath to find out what the fates have for his beloved ESL next season but I am sure that we would all like to have a 20 team league.

Lots of lovely extra fixtures for B&P to have to catch up on after a bad winter!

White Notley's ground is nice. Built on a lottery grant, but I can't imagine they would get the go-ahead to join the ESL...

 

Parking there is a [****!!****] nightmare as well. Getting out of your car you risk losing a limb!

 

22 teams with 1 team going up, and 4 team play-off would be lem.

Getting back to the original thread subject.

 

So despite claims that the Foxes wouldn't get relegated this season it seems (if you believe the Rym1N table in yesterday's NLP) that they are definitely coming back to join the merry ESL band.

 

Let's keep the speculation going on the ESL club constitution for next season.

I don't think any left back would have coped with Jermaine Hughes on that day. He played well, and was a nightmare.
