Sadly that doesn't look like it's going to happen now, Cantos, Bitch and, wait for it, Paula have all dropped out, I was so confident Paula wouldn't come that I upped the money behind the bar to £100 if she did show up.

No I'm definitely up for it but I don't quite see why Paula can't go straight from work, Southend Victoria station is almost next to her office and it's only 50 minutes into Liverpool Street so she can be in the pub by 7.45, it doesn't make any sense.

Makes plenty of sense to me!!! I dont want to come along smelling of BO, I have dogs and cats to feed and then there is the man. He dont want to come so I dont want to play gooseberry either.

I do not go out to play in a suit. I am a jeans person. I can't shower and change at work.
