Bookham got an unlikely point against an under strength Banstead.

 

Banstead hit the cross bar early on but Bookham took the lead, chances for both side with Bookham's keeper pulling out a couple of great saves, Bookham went 2 up just before half time and wasted 2 other excellant chances in th efirst half.

 

Banstead changed their keeper at halftime as El Gaffs brother had been in goal as the normal keeper was working. Banstead pull goals back on 55 and 65 mins and I thought would go on and win but Bookham missed 3 one on one's at one end and held out at the other. Please with the point but with chances missed should have been all 3 but we also could have been beaten.

 

Bookham's players were very nervous of the pressure of relegation and this showed in their play.

 

Thankfully Banstead weren't at full strength cus we would have been well beaten.
