Hendon trip

Am I right in assuming we're going to be up at Hendon next weekend in numbers to back the boys?

 

Anyone know what parking is like there?

Not too bad from memory, but worst case scenario - there's Brent Cross & a large Tesco with car parking on North Circular (A406) - less than a mile from ground.

Parking spaces should be ample. If your concerned suggest you park at Brent Cross as Peter suggests. It's about a 15 minute walk from the there to the ground. Wouldn't suggest you park in the area near the ground. Very dodgy. Trust me, I know.

Hope to see a good number travel up from Margate on Saturday. However, don't expect any favours after you beat us on the last day last season to send us down (although we did get the reprieve).

 

As for parking, there's parking for 100-150 cars on site, the carpark is manned throughout the game and since we've done that we've had no problems with break ins.

 

Otherwise there is plenty of side street parking south of the ground, or if you don't mind a bit of a walk there is Brent Cross Shopping Centre, which is free. Don't park in Tesco's - they have one of these 2 hour parking limits which they do enforce at times.

URGENT DESPERATE REQUEST!!!!

 

I finish work at 1:00 next Saturday so if anyone would like to pick me up from Westwood Cross at approximately 1:05, and still be somehow confident of making it to Hendon for the 3:00 kick-off, it would be much MUCH obliged.

 

I think I might as well give up now...

You will be pushing it a lot mate, you have to go round the M25 and then into London or you could go round the North Circular and get caught up in traffic. You will be lucky to get there in 2 hours.
