player /manager is a very difficult job to do well even for a player who has been doing it for a while let alone a new manager.when trott hangs up his boots he will become a better manager.meanwhile i really think its flanagan who is not doing his job too well, trott needs to look at options for his assistant

I'm with you Hornet and WelshBob (and have been all along). With the squad we have, and the potential this team has shown at times, I think promotion is a MUST. If we do go up, I would certainly consider it to be a successful season. However, if we did not achieve promotion, it would be a failure for me, and I would certainly consider a change of backroom staff / management.

Some of the performances and results this season have been excellent. But far too many have been anything but.But hopefully saturday will be marked by the kind of performance we all know this group of players are capable of. And the pressure really is on Wimbledon now and i think they might just bottle it...

Come on you Blues.

I shall be making the journey down for the game, battling all the way from West Norfolk with the useless train timetable this weekend. Dragging a North London chum along with me.

Sounds like plenty of us will emerge from the woodwork for this crucnch game, and that should hopefully give a good atmosphere. Perhaps we'll top 200, even?

Would had thought that with the players brought in most the budget was used CE

Once the five a side pitches are up and running that will bring in more money for the club, which no doubt will be passed on to the players budgets

Looking forward to see what players stay, what new players are being brought in. There will be some leaving which will disappoint us but thats footy for you

Just goes to show how important those early season cup games are in FA Cup and Trophy to bring in the funds.

Would we have done better and got just that one more point if we had signed someone like Haworth in November or even after Christmas when it was obvious to all that we needed that alternative striker-probably yes.

We were told continually that RT was looking for a striker but it never happened for whatever reason.

I just so hope it all comes good tomorrow and wish everyone well.

If not, there's always next season i guess, but the competition will be even stiffer .

Good luck to RT and the guys tomorrow, and we need the luck now don't we.
