Thats a big blow for Hertford HTFCew, had you down for a win in that but Welwyn have been a bit of a bogey side for you this season haven't they? I don't think you can finish second now can you?

Good to see Cranfield win again, some upturn in fortunes they have had other the last few weeks.

Crawley Green look to have blown any chance of finishing champions now, a second defeat at home to a team around them, looks like AFC Dunstable and Kings Langley are going to the wire, and we have to play them both!!!

One last thing, commiserations to Spidermanor after Watford's relegation, obviously gutted that the derby won't be on next season.

I wonder how Cranfield will do next week at home to Cockfosters?

Well a month or so ago I would have said a big Cockfosters win, but now hopefully Cranfield will be able to give them a game, though I can still see Cockfosters nicking it.

Thanks Awk, and commiserations to you as well. I am disappointed that there will be no derby next season (unless the cup draws bring them together). Still we have had a fair bit a time to get accustomed to the idea of relegation so it wasn't too bad today.

I'll be interested to see if MoTD picks up on the incident this afternoon when Stuart Pearce hurled a bottle onto the pitch in a fit of pique at an offside decision. If any supporter had done it a ton of stewards and police would have jumped on them.

I would imagine that they will say its the passion Pearce has and have a laugh at it.

How do you think you will do next season? You have only lost one player from your promotion side haven't you (Young) and have King back after a long lay off so you must be reasonably confident of a decent season.

If we get drawn in the cup I'm not sure where I'd rather it, at ours you have turned it around but at yours we are still unbeaten for quite a while. I'm not sure what allocation we would get either at Vicaridge Road, hopefully improved after last season where there was thankfully little trouble.

A second half stoppage time goal gave CHalfont the win yesterday and they celebrated like they won something important. In truth it wasn't a great game played on a diffiuclt surface. We took the lead through Terry Gibbs after five minutes they equalised six minutes later. At that point I thought my 5-4 prediction was on but the game petered out especially in a tedious second half. Overall though they probably just about deserved the win as they had more of the play in the second 45.
