Thought it was fairly even in both numbers and vocals. Must say, well done to the CCFC fans for having a collection for STFC amongst themselves in the bar. An extremely kind gesture and raised a fair bit of money for the trust, so thank you to all of those CCFC who turned up today, and especially to those who contributed to the fund. You're a credit to your club and it hasn't gone unnoticed.

I would say about 140 Chelmsford and they probably outshaded us on the singing.

Thought we played reasonably well for half an hour, but then totally ran out of steam and created very little from then on.

 

Thought Chelmsford weren't that impressive for a side wanting to win the league, considering the thumping AFC Wimbledon and Bromley gave us.

I would like to re-itterate and say a big thank you to the Chelmsford fans for the bucket collection.

 

As for the game, I thought we played extremely well in the first half, and according to a lot of fans, including Chelmsfords, our goal should have stood. We were unlucky to go in one down.

 

Chelmsford stepped it up in the second half, but I thought that 4-0 was a pretty harsh score line, even though it was only four this time.

 

Well done to the players, and once again a big thank you to the Chelmsford fans.

again, thanks for the bucket collection and all the amazing comments about our supporters from the ccfc guys.

it was good to have some opposition in terms of singing and shouting yesterday, great to see the ccfc guys travelling in numbers, good luck for the promotion campaign.

As already said above thanks a lot you guys for the collection it is much appreciated. Also thanks to all the fans at the end of the game who wished us luck and all the best. Good luck with promotion this year, we will try to come and cheer you on if it happens to be in the play offs.

I thought we did ourselves proud yesterday, especially in the first half when we dealt with a vastly superior team quite well and restricted them to few chances, whilst not being afraid to come forwards ourselves.

 

The goal just before half-time was damaging, and the second killed the game off as we threatened to capitulate again, as we've seen so many times this season. We got the result we expected, but it certainly wasn't humiliating.

 

My MOTM would be Bartley. Did well up front with Nsubuga (despite neither of them being strikers) and did a solid job as ever, trying to make things happen, though it wasn't easy. I am becoming more and more impressed with Michael Donovan and Danny Jefferies, and I thought Rav had a pretty good game at right-back.

 

Big thanks to the Chelmsford fans for turning up in numbers (about 150-160 I'd estimate) and for doing the bucket collection, which is a great gesture and much appreciated.

City fan here, thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the ground, a lovely day all round.
