How he missed a couple of them challenges from Coyne I don't know, but believe me Howard gives as good as he gets, I think they learned a lot from each other after all them years training together!

 

Typical away performance from us really, we can knock the ball around well but offer little in the final third and other than Talbot mixing up his left foot from the right we never really looked like scoring, oh and we always concede from set pieces.

 

Huge disappointment to go down, but been looking inevitable for a while now and it was just a matter of time before we dropped. Having a look at the top of the table its looking very tight now, Carlos Edwards Sunderland followed by Steve Howard's Derby with Rowan Vine's Birmingham just behind. Also in the play-off mix is Curtis Davies West Brom, wonder why we went down!!!

Sad, isn't it, but Luton have struggled financially for years, haven't they? And I'll give you that the handball might have been given by some refs!

The problems with having such a small ground is that we can't compete financially, however saying that we have no debts and had £9 million worth of transfers coming in over the space of a season and a half, shame that we never re-invest a large amount of it. A (now ex) director has claimed that over £3 million has disappeared and the club is currently under investigation following our ex chairman saying that he paid irregular payments to players agents.
