gnfc vs northwhich behind the goal trouble

Recommended Posts

Sorry to raise this subject again but apparently one of the so called morons beihind the Plough End goal was spat in the face by a Vic 'supporter' when we visited them earlier in the season. Also, they APPARENTLY were not picking on one little kid. Sorry and all that but, even though I do not condone unwarrented violence of any sort, if a home fan gobbed in my face and I couldn't exact immediate retribution, I'm afraid I would hold a grudge and would exert my vebal frustration at visiting fans, especially if they came into the home end giving it the biggun like Vics did. Thats the the reason I hate Newcastle Utd. thanks to a half brick thrown into the side of my head for no reason by some half-breed geordie scum. Berate me if you want, and you probabaly will (as if I give a sh*t) bit there's two sides to every story, make sure you get both of them before you pass judgement

Firstly let me state that the Northwich fans were NOT MOVED by the stewards, they wanted to move even though there was stewards in a line between the 2 sets of fans and secondly it is so easy for people on this site to s..g off the stewards. All the stewards have been trained, and give there time even if it is little pay to come and steward all home games. There was one ejection that night for those who are not sure what an ejection is, it is someone being asked to leave. It also shouldn't matter to anyone what personnel lives they lead. None of the supporters turn around to the stewards and say " Oh by the way this is what my personnel live is....". You will not get the perfect steward but at least they do a job. We don't know what sort of people come through the turnstiles, and if we had known that there would of been the trouble with a section off home fans then yes we would of done something about it and ADVISED the away fans not to go to the home end at half time or semi-segregated the game. As to segregating the game we have no trouble with Northwich supporters in the past. So instead of having a go at the stewards why not help them, if you see something or hear anything why not tell a steward, don't just sit back let it happen and then start having a go at the stewards. The stewards are there to help not have a go at.

Well said ajw!

Those of you on here that are forever slagging off the stewarding should try doing something similar themselves.

Mind you I STILL cant understand why the Council Safety Officer is so insistant about keeping the front rows of the terrace free of supporters? Its the sort of stupid rule thats difficult to enforce that upsets people!
