we've gotta remember the not so obvious things as well.....ronnie hanley trapping and juggling the ball in the first welling cup tie...and indeed jonboy setting up the first ever live urchins radio broadcast for that game..sidders updates....some of them breaking records for mosts views and posts....max's half time treks to find a 50-50 winner...daggsy's pi55 taking match reports.... the great fans from sudbury and canvey and welling and others who all played their part in this memorable season...tina gossiping with becky in the boardroom with their white wine yet making everyone feel comfortable when they arrive there....the girls and guys outside who work so hard to feed and water us all and get the programmes to us.... and of course the eccentric basil fawlty type goings on behind the scenes BEFORE every match day that turn into slick and organised performances from everyone ON match day that makes our club so unique...so quirky... and so wonderful to be a part of...

 

so many good memories and so much to savour... applause

Perhaps we should do a least memorable moment, like

Wingate away. Clubhouse open late, no beer on draught, freezing cold and not too entertaining a game, but a well earned point.

Roots Hall for obvious reasons, but Treeboy baiting the lino with a simple repetitive call of 'Ref, lino, ref, lino, ref etc etc etc. I was crying with laughter.

 

Also the Ilford fan who looked like Ozzy Osbourne who stuck his head out of the window when they scored and shouted 'ave it up ya Hornchurch' and then looked down at me and said give me a break, we don't score very often. It's what non league is all about.

 

Another superb season, thanks one and all.
