Overall, a really good performance from the boys this season - lets keep it alive now until the final Saturday.

Remiss of me not to post on this thread until now, but as the regulars will now, I am an occasional poster, although I do pop in and read the threads a few times every week. No matter what happens on Saturday, I think the Fleet can finish no worse than 8th this season, which I feel it a very creditable achievement for all the reasons listed above. Let's hope for a fantastic end, bit if not, then I hope the core of the squad can be rertained with a few additions made and that we can challenge as strongly in 2007/08.

If Northwich hold on to a draw against Steveage tonight, we cant finish lower than 7th (currently its 0-0)

It finished 0-0. We will, at worst this season, finish 7th. there was 515 there tonight, the lowest attendance of the season but as a Confguider so eloquently put it "There’s Champions League on the Telly."

Damn - our match at Stafford has been usurped. It was such a privilege to be in the smallest Conference crowd of the season too...
