Good Semi Final, played at decent pace. Ash went 1 up after good header from a corner, we then equalise right on half time after defensive mistake. 2nd half the fun begins, we take the lead eraly on we a good goal after breaking fast. Then 15 minutes in we give one of theirs the freedom of the box to have ten touches before rifling at goal. Defender on goal line gets in way and diverts over, unfortunately with his arm!! Ref gives goal kick, Ash players surround him and moan, he tells them he has said 'No Penalty', goes over and asks linesman 40 yards away whos view was impeded by numerous players, comes back and gives penalty, sends off defender. No complaints was definite handball so he had to go, just amazing the way it was given. 2-2. 10 Minutes later ball is played into box and helped on by CF, defender a yard behind gets hit by ball, probably on the arm but had no way of getting out of way, and linesman gives his 2nd pen of the night!!! Keeper does well to save it. Rest of the game sees a few chances for both sides, mainly Ash until last minute when we get forward and our CF goes down in the box, ref points to spot (harsh pen) and we tuck away well to go through to final.

Badshot Lea at Aldershot, few ex Cambo boys playing there should be decent game.

 

JJ didnt play,saw him watching though, didnt get chance to say hello. Guess his ribs were still sore from Tuesday, they have played a lot of games recently.

 

Didnt see Kroons there either.

Krooner had to baby sit as Wife is away so couldnt get there.

Hey all. Gutted not to be involved last night. Ribs are so sore. Cant even cough or sneeze without it hurting. Had to be honest with the manager. Played a few times this season with niggly injuries and got away with it. Wouldnt have done last night. Adrenaline would not have got me thru it last night.

Views on the match??? Didnt see the 1st 2 Cam goals. Was in the bar on the fruity. The 1st pen was a definite. He practically tipped it over. Great save, right decision to send him off. Lino had a great view as i was standing right behind him and i saw it. 2nd pen was also the right decision. Ball was flicked goal bound and hit player on arm. Nothing he could do though, right at him!! Ref didnt see it but lino had a good view. Would have been very harsh to send the lad off though.

We've had 5 different pen takers this season and have all missed at least 1 each. Not good.

Camberley's penalty was soft. Ref was just trying to even things up.

On the whole camberley deserved it more cos they rode their luck, had 10 men and we missed a hatful. Hate to say it but good luck to them in the final .

 

Hopefully Johnno back saturday but doubtful at mo.
