this is all we need, liam, though not the most talented player,is the kind of player we need to get us out of the slump, a hard working and lucky player. does this alter the situation with che at all? maybe this mean andy will play giles up front(when duku gets back?)

Hmmm. Sounds to me like Che - in a bid to get off the transfer list - let Liam wash his car but left the handbrake off on purpose.

It happens a lot in football - Selby Villa's Brian Barnes snipped the brakes of rival David Bradley's Merc in a story in Roy of the Rovers, circa 1985.

Well Fleet Boy, maybe Andy will be thinking about taking Che back off the transfer list now (unless he is confident of signing a couple more strikers).

Fleet Boy's right - a never-say-die player like Liam is just what is needed for a relegation scrap. He will be sorely missed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Didn't he have an accident at work just after Christmas as well, looks like a job for Health and Safety at Liam's place, i will gladly do a risk assessment to stop our players getting crocked at work, quite agree Fleet boy move Chris Giles up front on sat probably with Che and if fit drop Wilks into the back four or three, going back to the injury what a joy it would be to be full-time.
