If your form away from home has been abysmal be very afraid of coming to slug meadow. I once saw a pitch in portugal made entirely of sand, and it was probably easier to play on than the thing we try to perform on. If you took your worst park pitch drove a tractor over it spraying sand in various directions, that is what slag meadow is like. NO-ONE can play football on that, and we were told it was going to be the best pitch in the ryman league this year and we pay 25k for the privilege!! Whats the number of trading standards!!!

I just made the comment that if they knew there was going to be an extra 150/200 people there on Saturday they could make a few extra quid if they opened the tea bar early and had plenty of Burgers etc.

Slough will not have any programmes for the game ! A [****!!****] up at the printers - our programme editor had e mailed the articles to the printers on Thursday , but at 4pm friday they had not received the e mail ..and the editor is now 300 miles away and we can not get them back...to re send the items as they are on his works computer !

 

So Limited Team sheets will be available tomorrow on first come first get bases....
