Although not quite so bad I remember finishing bottom of the Southern League after we changed our name to Thanet Utd.

However it was still my home town team so I followed them.

 

As for his last comment if we were in that situation I would do the same.

 

That is what makes grass roots football better than the glory boys of the Premiership.
