The toleshunt darcy cup is embarrasing , we won it with Burnham and we played Kelevedon SOCIAL CLUB in the final , ha ha ha ha ha

we are the only social club left!braintree-heybridge and witham-stanway East anglian cup,tolleshunt d'arcy are a consolation for our clubs and something to spur us on for next season.

The other group result was Czech Republic 1 3 Northern Ireland and the final two group games are on Sat 21st at 14.00 hrs Slovakia v Czech Republic and Northern Ireland v Isle Of Man ... and what's this to do with the ESL - nothing... except that the info doesn't seem to appear anywhere else on the net and as I have said before , supporting the Isle of Man is the nearest any Scotland supporter gets to follow " England " !

Island out of Uefa Regions Cup

 

 

 

 

The Isle of Man's ( a k a England Amatuers ) European campaign came to an end following a 1-0 defeat to Northern Ireland's Eastern Region.

 

Saturday afternoon's game was make or break for Kevin Manning's side after a 2-1 defeat to Slovakia and a 3-2 victory over home side Hradec Kralove in Uefa Regions Cup Group Four.

 

The Island fell behind to their well-drilled opponents in the 16th minute when a well-struck goal from midfielder Liam Bradley handed Northern Ireland the advantage.

 

With their opponents proving hard to break down the Manx side struggled to create in the final third.

 

The Island's best opportunity to equalise came in the second period when Chris Bass Jr played in club mate Calum Morrissey.

 

The St George's striker beat the keeper with his well-placed effort only to see the ball cleared off the line by defender Ryan Murray.

 

With neither side adding to the respective tallies the Island's involvement in the competition came to an end.
