GOOD LUCK MFC- Part VII -felling the Ash Trees!

Yet again I marvel at being able to continue into another Good Luck thread, my seventh! Our lads were STUNNING against Chelmsford City, and despite all the boasts of the City fans WE OUTPLAYED THEM! Well done Trotty and the team! The momentum continues just as I foretold!

 

Two games left to decide if we can make the play-offs, and possibly find the path back into the lower reaches of the Conference. As it is we have to WIN both games and hope that all or any key rivals above us lose their way. We are GOOD ENOUGH to be in Conference South. We have the talent, we have the nerve, we have courage and the want to win spirit is in evidence!

 

But this is where the going gets tough! Ashford Town are no mugs! The play good football and in their short history they have made fantastic progress to be in the Ryman Premier! They can play football. And to be vitally sure of avoiding any relegation threat they will want the points. Expect a hard game.......

 

However, my non-league football guide says that their nickname is the "Ash Trees"! So, what is predicted? We have to be busy, get into them, mix them up and sort them out. For if I take the letters of ASHFORD TOWN MIDDLESEX FC, get into them, mix them up and sort them out I get:-

 

Doddle! MFC WIN ASH FOREST X

 

Thus it is foretold! If we want, really want, the play-offs we must mix them up and sort them out! WE CAN DO IT! Go and do it!

As far as I'm concerned, I hope this unbeaten run continues long into next season. Not only for the results, but also to keep Abdullah's good luck threads going!

Anyway, we all KNOW you can do it Blues. Go out for the win, play like you did against the Rams and Chelmsford and a win is there for the taking...and that playoff dream will be alive for another week at least. Make us proud lads!

Looking for Bromley or AFC to draw their last two in which case goal difference is going to come into it.We need to win our two games but get goals too. Bromley currently stand 5 to the good of us & AFC are 3 to the good of us.Goal difference may well decide this so "GO OUT THERE & WIN but win WITH GOALS".
