We're down to 8th after Stevenage's win tonight - 3 pts on THursday would see us back to 7th and guarantee us a top 8 finish.

We are currently sitting in the dark place called 'mathematically possible'

By my reckoning we need Stevenage and Burton to draw or lose one of their remaining games. And given our goal difference we cannot afford for either York or Exeter to win either of their games. Two draws for one of them will be enough.

Of course, this all depends on us winning our last three games.

That means we need to have 9 results go our way. Unlikely, I know, but until the final nail goes in, I will be clinging on to this beautiful dream.

Why no chance stevenage play exeter saturday, York play southport and if we win both of our home games this week it goes to the last day. You never know what could happen on the last day.
