As an aside - have you enjoyed your 1st season in the CCL - did you think it would be easier than you have found? How many predicted at the start of the season that an Ex Ryman 2 team would win the CCL honours?

I stated that it would make the CCL a stronger league and will make teams raise the bar for themselves. I think is has undoubtedly done that and all in all I reckon the Div 2 clubs have acquitted themselves well.

I think, all in all, it's been a good start.

 

Certainly a friendly League, with one notable exception. (No names - No pack drill, and all that !)

Leatherhead normally but I've mates who play for Chessington and Bookham and have watched both this season. I was at the abandoned game Bookham must be gutted sods law etc.

Only 50 miles - they used to have to travel 68 miles to us last season.

He hasnt been with us this season.(loud Ash Supporter) He was asked to cool his chants and songs down by officials and clubs, so decided he would give it up. Missed him down at Ash...... He was our 12th man. He was brilliant especially against the bigger teams like Leatherhead and AFC Wimbledon. No one else like him. Mr Ash Utd.
