In the last few minute the situation has changed for the worse, I have no other option than to postpone this game. Hopefully we can sort it out for a few weeks time. Like I said I will have no part in any organisation of these games anymore. Just to clarify the game is OFF due to a quite spectacular cockup. Apologies for any inconvinience caused. Hopefully this extra time will allow things to be done in the correct manner.

Just to let you all know that the British Legion are now talking about bringing back a football team (used to be one 10 years ago) following the enjoyment of yesterday.

The banter we received from other members (especially when I walked back in the club still in my shorts)showed everyone had a laugh.

 

A big thank you to all the supporters team for a good match where I think the scoreline was a fair one.

 

Also a total of £210 has been raised for Demelza House and the Poppy Appeal (Thank you Ian for the donation via Alex)

 

I hope to be in contact with the local paper in the next few days advising them of the match and the money raised
