First start in a competitive game since 17/12/2005

Friends side were short again on Sat and ended up starting! Was still struggling with a bit of a hammy pull picked up during the week while training but successfully negotiated 45 minutes in the searing heat before gracefully making way to run the line for the second half.

 

Yes.. run the line, not sure what level the league is classed at but do the levels go into 3 digits? (It's actually level 12)

Player screams - HOW THE F*CK IS THAT OFFSIDE?

NF Cooly - You're standing the wrong side of all the defenders.

Player looks around - Oh right, OK!

PPS Forgot to mention the little sh*t who lined up in tights and gloves thinking he was Chimbonda, proper BTK as he was a first teamer playing for the ressies!!!! It was 25 degrees for f*cks sake...

Fair enough, how many mroe run outs you planning for rest of season? Then a nice pre season to see you back firing around August??

Maybe another three more but I'm only going to play if they are shot. Still got a lot more strengthening work to do but the plan is to hit pre season ready to go... famous last words!
