nominations for players player and young player

the nominations for the premiership players player and young player of the year are out. so i thought id ask who are your nominations for this in an ESL form. unfortunately you cannot see every game but if you have seen a player play a few times im sure you can make some form of reasonable judgement.

 

based soley on performances this season my player of the year nomination would probably be nicky cowley at the moment. i would say danny heale would have to be up there. i have only seen elbi play a couple of times and not been that impressed but obviously reports are good but i cant comment.

 

my young player of the year would be southend manors goalkeeper buckfield. dont know how old he is but he is very good for someone so young.

Yes, I agree with you there re Achilles. But I really think this is a non-starter, because hardly any fans come on here and most of us get only two bites at assessing any abilities other team's players possess.

Or was you touting for the sympathy vote?

anyway i reckon healsey's up there, steve king, yo had two good games against us obviously cowleys up there but i dont want to say him and from romford Clayton and rafis have been two of our best players this season but i'd go for Heale

no not looking for sympathy vote coup. lets get it right i am lucky to play ESL little own be the best player in the season and that is honest.

 

maskell had 2 good games against us and didnt let dean allen win much.

 

i like the boy jack callow at burnham. works hard and good player but very small. he would be good vote for young player.

 

i like sean thomas as a player. alwasy plays well when ive seen him.

I think Buckfield is about 18, recently released from Sarfend methinks.

 

My nomination is tough, as there is alot of very good young players in the league but our own Tyla Phillips has always impressed me and has stepped up to this league superbly.

From what I've seen Leon Diaczuk is an excellent player. When I've seen Trenkal once or twice he is a very good player but don't tell him I said that! Jamie Wallace at Eton Manor was excellent every week before going back to Tring. The right winger at Hullbridge is a very good player but has been injured and I can't remember his name.

 

Having played Rumford 101 times I can't honestly remember any of their players standing out! I can't remember Brentwood much either.

agree with the boss every time i have seen ing play he is very solid.

 

i rated ben hudson at manor as well, he is only young too.

 

i rate michael hart at concord as well as good young player. would have liked to have seen him stay at bowers for this year.
