Apparently they're still in with a shout of the play-offs according to the BBC:

Maybe we've still got a chance if they have too!

It's since been edited - it seems they misinterpreted his original comments (i.e. saying 'if we aren't going to finish in the top five then I want to finish sixth' doesn't actually mean Yates still thinks they can make the play-offs).
