Fixtures - next season

Does anyone know if the Conference (sorry - Blue Square Premier, ffs would someone get hold of the langer who thought of that and kick him a new hole) fixtures are decided using the same system as League ones are? Hopefully so, cos with Charlton dropping out of the Premiership, it might be possible that home games dont coincide, and with a lower standard of opposition - will they still send cheap coaches into Kent to 'steal' fans?

That's easily solved, let them go down and not come back up, then no free season tickets.

Besides, any one who is prepared to commit to a season ticket to next season without knowing which league they will be playing is not likely to be one of th eflating fans that we hope to capture

Tuning into Andy Townsend's "Championship" on ITV on Sunday a particularly moronic looking Torquay fan - complete with half a dozen scarves, a flag and a silk cap referred to the Conference as "the abyss".

They'd better make themselves comfortable.

Please, do stick around, we always need someone to have a go at, and you will stop us fighting amongst ourselves ( maybe !).

Are you pleased with your season so far ? Are you optomistic about beating Dagenham next year ?

Do the Hard Fi boys stick any money into your club ( I think they are Brentford fans ....apologies if I am wrong !)

Keep The Griffin pub up to standard...I wouldn't mind a return there soon ( 19 January 1980 was the last time I popped in !)

Cheers,

OK
No-we were relegation fodder all season, and this is the first ever league season, Brentford have finished bottom of any league.
Yes-we will hammer the daggers
No-only 1 of them actually supports Brentford...they are forever in the studio/on tour
OK-I am popping in tomorrow for a jar, I'll let them know !

...that would be Mr Archer then ? Best he get another album out soon ?!

Just on a boring personal note, last time we ( Micky Boy & I ) were in the Griffin, the said Micky Boy decided to hammer the ESB !...judging by his demeanour during the game, I think that the ESB might have hammered him ? Aaah.... happy days !

Cheers,

Yeah, I think they are mainly Staines boys, and I have heard rumours of Staines Town fans... shocked

They like their football though.

The Griffin is a superb pub, I reckon the best in Brentford.

The pubs in Brentford serve its football club well, I could name 17 within 1 mile and a half.
