Unconfirmed and I stress unconfirmed reports are that Pat and Charlie could be out for the season. Pat apparently popped his groin and Charlie has a thigh muscle strain.

Pat did say that he came off as a precaution, rather than it being a positive groin problem.

Shame for Charlie, he's been on such marvellous form, perhaps he will bounce back.

If that's the case we could struggle in the playoffs if SCS is suspended. That's if we reach the play-offs (don't want to tempt fate by being presumptuous).

SCS was sent off for alleged handball outside the area in the reserve game last Tuesday (although he was sure he headed it). So surely he would be suspended for the Hendon game if he is handed a one game ban for a professional foul (or would be banned for the reserve game in 9 days time?)

Good question there Porka. For our sake we better hope its for that reserve game. All though that would mean the reserves are screwed.

I wonder what the team will be next week. We will be missing Jay and Pat, and it's looking like we will be without Mitten. Add in Macca and Abbo and we have a thin squad at the moment.

Yet again unconfirmed but I have heard that SCS ban will be for 7 days commencing 7th May. This makes available for selection till ( and including ) the playoff final.

Payney as we all know him was a good striker. One of the best in the sunday prem for years. Played with him for Marco. The saying always was even in his last season 2 years ago. There's always a goal in Andy Paine. The Andy Paine you're thinking of is an accountant I believe. The striker Andy Paine is a builder by trade.
