Just for the record and anyone joining this thread.I can clarify that these racist allegations were NOT at the Ampthill match but at another game in which Kentish Town FC were involved in.

I will be watching Kentish Town v Stony Stratford on Saturday and hope that they can get a better result than this weekend. Will Lee Scott and Scott Dawson be playing? Also will Thomas Looney be available after his sending off.

 

Stony are strong and intimidating and Kentish (from what I've seen of them) need to be more physical in their approach to the game if they have any ambitions to get out of Div1. Unfortunately at that level of football it is about having the desire to win.

Southmidsfan - I hope that you won't do a SteveR on Saturday and you will come over to introduce yourself, don't forget that the game is being played at Buckingham Athletic's Stratford Fields home. Yes Dave Dawson should be playing but Lee Scott won't be, Thomas Looney's suspension won't kick in until next season so he should be available to trouble Stony Stratford as was the case at Ampthill prior to his dismissal when they didn't have a clue how to handle him, all their Christmas's came at once when he was sent off.

Not wishing to rub salt in the wounds, what I mentioned very early in the season the shortcomings of KTFC seem to still stand. the reaction to intimidation verbal or physical now whilst i do not agree with racial remarks it does happen and whether is colour, big nose, funny haircut people will always find something to put their opponent off their game. It happens, and will always happen and is part of that determination to win, the "I will do everything to win". Short tempered or not people need to learn these skills hence why I made my 6th prediction for KTFC. If they add experienced hardended players at Div 1 they will get out if not they will remain.

So what are the plans for next season for KTFC? New ground?

Yearup - To use a well known football chant 'Who Are Ya', that's about all I can think of to sum up your crazy post at the moment but I'm sure I will think of something else later. So you're in favour of racism in football then, that's what you're suggesting.

Potters Bar Town - Why are you defending Yearup's silly post as you should know better, our players and 'the great one' are entitled to over react to racist comments as there is no place for racism in football. Yearup is saying that our players can't take abuse and over react to racist remarks which I find very disturbing and totally out of order.

I haven't defended his post, just queried your interpretation of it. And players are never "entitled to overreact" on the field of play. If they do, it will only encourage more racist behaviour as opponents will know it's an easy way to get to them.

You seemed to be siding with Yearup who appears to be an oddball of BewareofRhodents proportions. I agree that players shouldn't overreact, or even react to situations, however racist abuse by other players on the field of play is different and should not be tolerated in any way, shape or form. Take 'Sugar's' reaction and subsequent one and only post on here when he thought his players were being racially abused by Blues06, he has ignored all my criticism of him, fair or unfair, yet felt strongly enough to do that so fair play to him for once.

I don't know why you are picking on Kentish Town as we are not the only Club to do so. Take the Haringey Borough v Tring game on Saturday when a penalty wasn't awarded, the Haringey man received his marching orders for arguing.

yes rhodes but on saturday haringey where given a penalty - clear cut chop, last man - only for the referee to change his mind and give a drop ball - something which in my opinion is worth an arguement.

who doesnt batter an eyelid Rhodes? if you was an active supporter of Haringey Football Club and all its affiliates then you would recieve my full support. But as Horace said, you have a vendetta against a good man like Aki which turns alot of people off of you!
