My "disclaimer" as you call it, was, was it worth it to go through the pain to attend Fleet, in a probably meaningless game, 48 hours after a knee operation.

Luckily, I have strong pain killers and will watch it.

Yet again misquotes, to try and undermine fellow supporters.

This is what I said:

"If I was fit and well and could drive of course I would be there.

I am having significant surgery on my knee 48 hours earlier. Won't Be bending my knee, and won't be able to hop far even if I can scrounge a lift.

Are you offering? "

I don't recall quoting anything. And to say you will 'gladly be paying' your twelve pounds, which was something you were in doubt over 'bothering' to do when the Southport score came in, is a u-turn worthy of the Blair government.

Merely an observation, as Hirsty might say.

Didn't hear about your attempts to advertise the game,Bernard. Perhaps you were busy trawling through my postings finding things to disagree with.

I assume you want some kind of medal for this hard work, since self-importance is something you clearly thrive upon?

The fact that this has literally nothing to do with what I was talking about, to do with your original vacillating and subsequent u-turn over turning up on Thursday, highlights an interesting side to you...

I can find no evidence of vaccilating or a u-turn in any of my postings.
I merely asked whether it was worth the pain of going to Fleet on Thurday with a bad leg!!
You are obviously a student of human psychology, since you obviously know me so well.

Shirley you mean 'World cup Willy Waving'. smirk

I know it has been said many times before but this would be a very boring forum if we all agreed all the time.

Can't you now? Funny that, I could have sworn you were questioning paying "full price for what is a 'pride' only game"...
