Old Greggy Dick has been supping in the Griffin again by the looks of it ?! And may I just say that there is nothing whatsoever wrong with that !...although it may offend the Temperance members of our band !!

Drink more apple juice ( Strongbow !!)

Cry God for Harry, England & St George ( and Liam !)

Cheers,

Have you not got a life that offers anything better to do than to try and goat a few dozen supporters on an internet forum? Or are you one of these sad little people whose social lives revolve around a PC, including talking and interacting with other people?

You are a wind-up merchant fan. Not an official of Brentford Football Club. Until we get an announcement from our club, we won't believe the words of some unknown creep on our fan's forum who hasn't got anything better to do with his time than to try and get on my nerves.

If rumours on here were to be believed, Oliver Bierhoff would be banging in the goals for us under Andy Hessenthaler, with Paul Scally as our chairman. So you can understand why you have not got one single person on here taking you in the least bit seriously.

Go away.

I am not here to wind up anyone...I am also obviously not connected with Brentford officially either !
I heard that Daish was being lined up for the Bees job.

I wanted to know more about the man, so came on here.

I think most people have been decent enough to share some views, etc, etc.
If you think I am winding you up, then I apologise, but I happen to know that Daish was interviewed, but the board have gone for Terry Butcher.
I put a clue about this on another thread, last Friday.
It will be announced tomorrow.

This is a really interesting forum, full of info about the non-league scene.
I also follow the results Hertford Town (home town club), Stevenage, Cheshunt, Dagenham and Farnboro so you may see me around for a bit...I hope Gravesend get into the play offs, as the fans on here seem like a great bunch.

Please dont be so touchy !

I have had 3 barren years on the National now, and my £5 on Valencia to win the CL has also f--ked off.
You might be un-surprised to learn that I am not known as a top tipster around these parts...

ps...The Orange-Eastenders clue is now revealed, see above

thanks Stu..

to be honest I re-read Mr K-Shep's post the other night, and it seemed harsher than on first reading..

I wouldnt mind a reply from him to my post above !

Phrases like..

" I don't like stooping to the level of people like you"

"Have you not got a life that offers anything better to do than to try and goat a few dozen supporters on an internet forum..."

"...are you one of these sad little people whose social lives revolve around a PC"

"You are a wind-up merchant"

"hasn't got anything better to do with his time than to try and get on my nerves"

don't do you any credit !

Anyway - Thanks Stu for the vote of confidence in my credentials for giving LD a reference.

So here it is:

Great man-manager (ask Sodje)

Great motivator (except against bottom of league teams)

Great ability to select a diamond in the holding midfield role (hence us all enjoying the silky skills of Quinn all season)

Excellent speaker on the radio

Loyal (apart from continually going to interviews for vacant manager's jobs)

And most of all, excellent choice of number two in Kimble, hence the great league position.

So all round top bloke - despite the above gaffes, which I mention tongue in cheek before you all go off thinking he's the next Brian Clough.

Well done LD - great season - let's see better next year

I think from what I have read recently, Liam Diash wants to stay at the Fleet and lead the team forward, let's hope that is the case but I also think at this level you need to accept that if your manager does well than other clubs will come looking, and no doubt Mr Diash has ambitions to progress like we all do!!!!

:-)
