It May Be A Bit Early

and I am aware that we have four games to go until the end of the season but...the sun is shining and I'm feeling reflective...So, what would be your "game of the season" so far...It's a difficult choice because we have seen some great performances put in by the team.

 

Mine would be Bromley at home. Nil all but a superb all round performance by the team, only to be denied by a goalkeeping performance par excellance by the Bromley No. 1. I know you can't match the Chelmsford games for atmosphere...at New Lodge but that game for me had everything...second for me would be our win over AFC Wimbledon at home. A well timed, defence splitting pass by Leon Hunter to Chris Whelpdale to score, comes to mind.

 

Of course, the choice of these games could be totally acedemic by the end of the season...

Hopefully well have only 3 games til the end of the season gazza...

 

For me the best performance was Heybridge away. For pure drama and excitement, Margate at home, and for great results both the Chelmo games.

Yep, you're right, I'm a bit dozy this week...three games to go. Bugger, where did Monday go, eh?

And I am superstitious....... If I see one Magpie before the game, I'm distraught and trying to sight another or his mate (how on earth one bird can detirmine a result beats me...but it's in the lap of the Gods!!!). I have spat over my right shoulder and hailed single Magpies all over Essex.

 

I'm now going to have to do something to break this spell....

We Still have the Essex Thamside Trophy game against Aveley or Barking to play, so it is 4 games definitely. Maybe 5,6 or even 7 to play
