The BIG one - Predictions Vs. Chelmsford...

A huge game for all concerned with Margate FC - a win and that playoff dream may become reality; a draw and it all hangs in the balance (dependant on other results); a loss and it may all be over for another season.

Following a solid point against promotion rivals Billericay, ignoring the Slough game, and a quite brilliant win against the bitter rivals, we should be in high spirit for the extremely tough trip to Essex.

Chelmsford's home record speaks for itself: only one home defeat in the league all season. And our Essex hoodoo is worrying.

BUT, our away record is impressive (Bromley & Horsham anyone?). And we have broken that hoodoo with the 3-0 win against East Thurrock on a very difficult pitch.

So bearing that all in mind: I am going for a very hard fought 2-1 away victory. Hockton and Haworth with the goals.

Up the Gate!!

We also beat Wivenhoe earlier in the season in Essex.

Our confidence i think is going to be back now we are on our way back to playing good football again. Apparently they have a good pitch, so that will help our passing game a lot. However Chelmsford like to score at home as much as we like to score away from home. With all of this in mind this is my prediction

3-3 draw. Haworth(2) and Hockton penalty.

I am also going to plea that our vocal support to be as good as Mondays as i know the players appreciated the support a lot.

Typical Town supporter has to have a penalty in it. Well I hope we measure the penalty spot before the match can not take anymore mistakes or they could get a point deduction.wink

Chelmsford to win 14-1

All but Lee Protheroe sent off for mooning the ref

Charlie Mitten to admit that actually he is Ben Foster in disguise!

PMSL....

With you being a Margate fan why are you on the Ramsgate Forum saying you will be at Horsham, surely your loyalties should be with your team at Chelmsford?

Two reasons, I don't go to away games and secondly I am hoping to meet you

Great post from someone who has hardly gone to any matches

Also Ramsgate will be at home, so I won't be at horsham

Hi Tony.Trying the reverse method like me eh! l.o.l.
I would love to see us come away with something & if Folkestone CAN put away a "trembling" AFC side(though I cant see it) then at worst a defeat for us will still leave us in there with a shout.
No prediction EITHER way from me for our game but I am predicting that AFC Wimbledon will "THRASH" Folkestone Invicta on Saturday.. This really really IS a mortgage job.The maestro of all predictors has spoken. We have it all to do bearing this in mind.
