the above post is from my mate tom,who is no way accredited to myself,far too intelligent,but since he wrote that i have been on to my mate hornchurch mags(smallsy you know him) newcastle through and through,i asked him what he thought of roeder and he said "great,newcastle will not go down,they have a young team and he is responsible for the development of those young players,since he left west ham he has bought through players like taylor,ramage,the little ginger one in midfield and the geezer from canada" don't knock roeder for getting west ham relegated,the club was in troiuble well before then,but saying that he will not be happy with erikkson,which i disagree!

na i dont think newcastle will get relagted...this yr ! bt if he stays and continues dodge the fact that he has a world class keeper and 4 of the worst defenders in the history of the prem in that lge i fear for them, and i wld love to see nufc do well me misses is a geordie whole fam season ticket holders magpies thru and thru, bt i dont fancy there chances wiv that ass in charge.all the people up there i no cant w8 for him to go! erikson was [****!!****] for england, bt his club record wen given mney aint half bad.

and as for the money that roeder DIDN have he cnt b sure bt he had just ova 11m to spend, 5.5 repka 35k wages on g.breen and he played daily in this team.no mre said ! its not a case of living of wat harry did bt the platform was there 2 excel. he fkd it

Roeder came 7th with West Ham, then the following season he got relegated with a team that included Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, Jermaine Defoe, Paolo Di Canio, Freddie Kanoute, Trevor Sinclair and David James. Yeah ok he also had Christian Dailly but that was no excuse for taking that team down.

 

So he can't use the excuse that he came in to a struggling club, it was his crap management and ineptitude that got the club relegated. He's ok with youngsters in the Academy, but he doesn't know how to handle senior international players.

True, but that was after he got relegated and cannot be used as an excuse.

 

It was shocking what happened to him and I hope it never returns. I also distance myself from the moronic chants from some of the "so called" Hammers fans earlier this season.

I bumped in to roeder in bottoms up in gidea park about 9 years ago. He was buying an expensive bottle of cognac, I asked if he was celebrating something. He replied he was off to Frank Lampards house for dinner with him and harry redknapp. Shortly afterwards he was appointed youth team manager or something to do with the football academy. He doesn't even have the full credential in coaching, but surely he has had enough time to study for them or did he just fall into football management?
