Does anybody know what has happenned to Kevin McGoldrick I have not seen him at recent games, has he left the club ? A great shame if he has, he has been a most loyal servant.

Dick, don't know where you were on Saturday or Monday then as he was there at both matches.

Prior to that he had been missing for personal reasons. Glad to hear he was back around at Easter though

Talking about loyalty I think rav braich deserves a mention as well. I thought he had a good game on saturday and as soon as he came off, that magnificent footballing team Margate!! scored.

He has been with us for as long as I can remember and hardly ever plays. I think he should have had a more regular place once all the mercenaries had left. Every time i've seen him play he does well (away for ashford game so don't know if he played or not) So thank you Kevin, Rav, Wilko and Daly for staying so loyal.

Wasn't a regular at the start of the season, but is now a major part of the team.

Last season I was not a fan, this season he is my player of the season, and he must be a contender for Goal of the season.

He scored a screamer against Tonbridge. At that game there was a Norwich scout who I know, he had come to look at the Tonbridge striker. I saw him a few days later, he was unimpressed with the young lad, but said the best player on the pitch was our George!

 

Maybe we should not forget that Bart's has stuck with us as well?

Barts after that seven day approach came in for him as well. Fair play to all the lads who are still here to be honest. They could very easily have left by now.

 

As for Goal Of The Season, might be time to start that up in another thread...

But let us not forget Milf who gave up a 'retirement watchig scum this season' to play for us.

 

And Wilko of course has to be king of the bunch...

I think all those above deserve some sort of award at the end of the season, or at least an acknowledgement of our thanks for sticking with us
