To me this looks like a goal difference situation and ours is the worst by far, with 3 home games to come we need to be very positive in our forward game. With this in mind i would play with a back four, plus long and debolla in midfield, keeling out wide.eribenne up front with macdonald and sodje either side.Im sure this team would score plenty of goals and i just hope we wouldnt concede any. What do you think.

We have every chance of scoring a few, St albans have gone, Northwich are mid table and safe after tonights result against Dagenham who look to be coasting now, the tough one is saturday against Souhport who are fighting for their lives. But exeter have to play Stevenage so could dropp a couple of points there and york have oxford last game, so hopefully a couple of points dropped there to assist us.

Agreed - Basically concentrate on winning ours. If we go all guns blazing and lose, the goal difference will not matter anyway. 12 points remaining and we need them all. We will have to hope Exeter or York naff 1 game up! 4 dirty 1 nil wins and even i'll be happy . . .

I think we all know that usaully you get twists and turns at the end of the season, we need to win the three home games and see where we stand goiing into the final game. I think the goal difference issue is beyond repair, so just concetrate on winning the games, keep it tight at the back and go forward like we did on Monday when we won the game with a solid performance. This Saturday against Southport will be a battle, as they have had a couple of decent results recently. The other games might be easier but we will see. :-)

I think the worse thing would be to win all our matches and then miss out on goal difference because we played it safe. We have to go for it and try and win every match by 2 or 3 goals and hope that we give someone a real thumping.

I would play:

Cronin

Hawkins McCarthy R. Smith

Ledgister Long Quinn deBolla Opinel

MacDonald Eribenne

Subs

Moore Sodje Varney keeling Slatter

And better coming on as a sub against tired legs.

Opinel gives us more defensive options if we have to and he scares the [****!!****] out of the opponent's right back.

(more importantly we share the same birthday)

You got it about right David. Looking forward to Saturday and team selection. Whatever players Liam chooses, are OK with me. Great to have got this far.

Had a peep at the Oxford forum. Some of the OXO fans are so up themselves. Mind you a Daggers poster did wind them up. We took a bit of stick ourselves over our ground and facilities. As one put it.'You wouldn't want to die in Gravesend' whatever that means. This was in response to a Wrexam fans request for info on the Conference setup

I think the worst thing would be to not win one of our matches and find that a 1:0 would have got us into the play-offs. Having said that I would gamble more than you Dave and play Sodge instead of Quinn.

I think the worst thing that could possibly happen would be everyone discussing it so much that my head exploaded due to all the different scenarios that could happen. I look at the League table every hour and it still won't change. Time doesn't go any faster. God why can't it be like last season at least then we knew what was going to happen. We knew we were going to finish in a crap position.

If this was a movie I'd wind it forward to the end and watch just because this wait is doing my head in. If it were a book I'd read the last page beacuse if we lose one game and we're out and if we're out at least then we can say "oh well at least we know how it's going to end" but then if that happens we'd always be left wondering "what if" and I can't want us to lose because I want us to win so much I've never wanted anything so much the only thing that comes close is I really wanted a an Ice Cream maker when I was a kid every year at Christmas I'd ask for it but I never got it eventually it was the only thing I wanted, it was only £20 and I never ever got it well thats what this feels like what if every year we want this and every year we don't get it thats what it feels like is going to happen. It never felt like this supporting Chelsea. All the Cup Finals, Champions League matches, playing Spurs Arsenal and Man Utd every game with the Fleet feels like all my emotions I've ever experienced all rolled into one. God please let us win.
