Rhodes, whether I am sociable or not is quite frankly none of your business. It's my choice who I socialise with or not and its always worth remembering that some people are more sociable than others. I perhaps am not as sociable as some people, but I don't deserve to be slated for it.

SteveR - I wasn't slating you and apologies if you got that impression, it's just that I found it a bit strange that you didn't approach me at Harpenden and introduce yourself, you wouldn't have had to buy me a pint despite all the publicity our Club have brought to Hendon this season prior to the groundshare going belly up.

HTFCew - No not at all, it was common knowledge and I always made a point of telling the World's press when they came knocking at my door on a daily basis. One of them even picked up on the fact that England trained at Claremont Road on the morning of the World Cup Final in 1966, not a lot of people know that.

I can. Firstly, I suspect that most of our support are completely unaware that Kentish Town were allowed to use our ground for four games earlier this season. I won't call it a groundshare, because we all know that isn't what it was. No mention was made of the groundshare on our website, in our programme, or in any of the local papers that our supporters are likely to pick up.

As for the England team training at Claremont Road ahead of the 1966 World Cup Final, I'm reliably informed by supporters who were around in the 1960s that this is something of a myth. My understanding is that the team stayed at the Hendon Hall Hotel, which is on the A41 not too far from Claremont Road, but did not make any use of Claremont Road. That said, we can't find any concrete proof either way, we've been looking to confirm the myth as we're aiming to issue a book next year for our centenary.

So where's your proof, clip Rods. You've made a statement of fact but what's it based on? Hearsay, yet again?

That's because it was 'Royal Secret' at the time and generally remains so to this day, the only people likely to be able to confirm it for certain are the likes of Banks, Cohen, Wilson, Stiles, Jack Charlton, Ball, Hunt, Hurst, Bobby Charlton and Peters.

So you're going on hearsay then.

No I'm not as I have it on very good authority that they did grace the hallowed Claremont Road turf prior to the World Cup Final, wouldn't Graham, Ted or Eric know, why don't you ask them.

Well you would say that wouldn't you, my source is 'Royal Secret', I'm not keen to reveal it. Like I said SteveR should know if the England 1966 squad trained on the hallowed Claremont Road turf prior to the World Cup Final as it's his Club's main claim to fame, anyway he only needs to ask Graham's henchmen Ted or Eric who probably opened the gate and changing rooms for them on the day.

clip Rods, more and more people are criticising you on this forum but you still keep spouting this crap. You don't have a source, you have read about it somewhere and taken it as gospel truth and can't accept being told by somebody else that it may not be as you have always thought. You've been asked to prove your statement, can't do so and are now desperately hiding behind this "Royal Secret" nonsense. Why can't you just accept that you were wrong, for once? More and more people and finding you less and less believable.

Oh dear, wrong again. Neither Ted or Eric were involved in opening up the ground back in the 60s. Neither are they Graham's henchmen. You really haven't got a clue have you.

I didn't agree, just the opposite infact. You said that more and more people were criticising me on here and I said yes such as Yearup and Topsy as well as Topcatch, these people seem to come out of the woodwork un-announced from other Forums and don't know what day it is however they play right into your hands giving you more ammunition to use in your un-natural crusade against Kentish Town.
