I can't ever imagine being in the same league and visiting the same grounds for consecutive seasons! Some ups and downs certainly been had in the seasons I been watching but they've been great seasons at that. Gutted I've missed so much of the season (well... three months or so) and even more gutted I'll make even fewer games next season. Some tastey fixtures I'll certainly make all the effort to get back for.

Looking back over these past few seasons, one thing we can be sure of is that it won't be dull! We always have an interesting and absorbing season.
I can't help but imagine where we might be now if we had not been relegated from Conference South......

Looking back on it, going down to the ESL could have been a blessing in disguise.

When we do make the Conference (which I truly think we will in the next 5/7 years smile ) we'd have built up quite a fanbase and hopefully had some coherence in the managment department making us fully prepared for the dizzy heights at the peak of NL football. Is the league really for us small time Urchins though?? grin laugh

I think that being an ambitious club is quite right and proper and I'm sure that lessons were learned from the events of a few years ago.

I feel confident that we can establish ourselves as a competitive side in the Ryman Prem. That division has been very interesting this year with the eventual outcome likely to be decided on the last day of the season.

Hopefully a few of the clubs we meet next year will bring some fans to the Bridge so we can have a lively atmosphere like last Saturday but please... leave the drums at home!
