That was a fantastic result for us yesterday and tbh i think the best team did win. Ramsgate were shooting, but i just seemed that they were shooting when they had space. However we were different we built the play up well and were patient on the attack, we didn't force any chances and that is why i think we won. Also we played ball to feet more instead of just hoofing, but there were times when we were just hoofing it away.

 

Shame it wasn't a great game, but that is the way derby's go they are either fantastic or non-eventful. It was good to see the Margate of the first half of the season coming back still a bit of a way to go, but we're getting there.

 

I thought Ramsgats support was poor yesterday, you mentioned Rob that you were loud for 20 minutes, but i only managed to just about hear one song all game. I was also dissapointed with the vandalism that Ramsgate fans created down the coffin end and this was Ramsgate fans who done this 'RCF' was written on one of the hoardings. Anyway Ramsgate will get the bill for that, so i aint complaining just dissapointing to see.

Yes ive got to say it well done margate,not as good a game as i thought it would be,1st half pretty even, with the Rams forever giving the ball away it was only a matter of time before you'd score, fair result in the end,highlight of the game was the look on Mittens face when Wilkerson hit the cross bar..

Not half as the face on your keeper when BIG RH hit his,still all in all a good game played in good sprite,as i said B4 good luck for the rest of the season.

When was that then?Did he get annoyed or something.I never saw him hit the bar with a shot when he moved up into attack. Or was I seeing things when his shot flew wide?

Your goalie is a real good sport though. When he came tearing back to his area after going up for the corner he was so red and huffing and puffing I thought he was going to have a seizure! But he was grinning like a cheshire cat.

As others said Rob he was a good sport and he did make us all laugh when he ran back puffing and panting after his escapade in our area. Was worth the applause we gave him.
