It was good to see the families out at this local derby with, wives, girl friends, children and babies in prams ( the latter not counted in the total ! ) all enjoying the sunshine of Sarfend !

 

Just felt my age with McGown in goal and 14 year old Matt McGregor coming on as sub for Hullbridge Sports, both of whom had Dads I remember very well plying their trade extremely successfully in the Esl some 20 years ago .... Stuart McGown and Andy McGregor !

Indeed,they come from theatrical families grin.Alex Mc Gown was making his debut in goal for Hullbridge(James Marrable was unavailable) after a golf career, and Matt Mc Gregor who plays for Essex u'15s rep side and captain Hullbridge u'16s Eastern Junior Alliance was at his 3rd appearance for the Bridge.Following the forced absence of so many Hullbridge first team regulars(7),it was good to see many 16 years old promising youngsters for Sports.It bodes really well for the lower road club. applause

i dont think dean allen's feeling himself at the moment,for the last few matches hes not even been abusing smallsy over his kicking,as soon as we hear deano moaning "what the feck was that smallsy?" we will know that the don douglas trophy for top esl goalscorer is in the bag.

only khory davidson that is your left back,don't confuse people jaimie,i have got your team list.we had james marrable,chris tomlinson,gary ogilvie,chris brown,paul oakley,neal hughes and bradley nobbs.the truth is the hullbridge youngsters run rings around ya and is hard to take it,ha ha yay
