WELL DONE!

I would just like to say well done to the lads and they saw what it meant to us at the end too with them clapping us.

Would also add (and he knew this was coming) one person who will remain annonomous (OK Lloydy!!) who was complaing when Dean came on and not Bagley..and was still moaning up to the point when the ball was cross for the goal.

Thought Greg "unlucky" getting booked for taking a drink although at least he got one as we drunk the clubhouse dry today.

In Llodys defence Frankie I'm sure there were others thinking the same at the time but it turned out to be a good move in the end & I'm sure Lloydy would now agree with that.I was so rapped up in the game that I personally didn't care who came on so long as we could hold out or even get a winner. Thanks to Dean & Dannys great header we got that winner. No way were those people imagining Dean would play such an important part in yesterdays game before he did.Did you think he would at the time he was introduced.I doubt you did if you were being honest.

Good on Dean for coming up trumps on the day though. All too often lately we have lacked players playing a ball & standing still rather than move into space.Yesterday Dean showed them how it can be done & how it can reap rewards from doing so. All credit to him. Am sure Lloydy & those others would be saying the same thing right now.

And a well done particularly to Trotty. He had a look at Ramsgate and switched to three at the back (anyone remember who else chose that approach?) to specifically counter Ramsgate's main threats. I'm encouraged that we can be effective with both systems. And for me, that was the first time I'd seen Louis play in the middle and for a younger player, he looked very commanding in their alongside two much more experienced players.

Yes indeed Steve.Trotty & Mike obviously got together & came up with the right starting formation & tactics to go with it.Smith did well I agree.A bit naive on the odd occasion but on the whole fitted in well with Trotty & Pat.All three were exceptional at the back yesterday.Well done them & well done Trotty & Mike Flannagan.

Credit to our two full backs too,Oates & Skinns who after being asked to push forward more to make the 5 in midfield still managed to get back to do their defensive duties when it was required. These two ran their socks off down those flanks.

I cant remember another time when we played Trotty,Smithy & Sappleton ALL at the back(though I may have missed that)& with the two full backs being given the run of the wings both back & forth knowing that the cover was there hence allowing them to express themselves more might have had something to do with it perhaps. If indeed this was a previous formation & it didn't work then, then all I can say is that this being an important game & local derby, coupled with a dismal display on Saturday must have been the reason that brought about the improvement yesterday. They certainly WERE up for it yesterday too & that does make a hell of a difference.Oh & not lets forget the "huddle" before kick-off!! l.o.l. Otherwise I cant explain it.

The noise and support was fantastic yesterday. How great was it to see a packed terrace again. The reaction at the final whistle showed just what it meant and I've got the choir filmed on my mobile doing "let's go f()cking mental la, la, la ,la " and "Margate" with the drum - absolutely top stuff.

And having watched Watford stuff Pompey (Otley Steve-what's the score) in the pub before the game made for the perfect afternoon.

Fantastic day all-round, credit must go to all the players and backroom staff. Thoroughly deserved the win, I felt. Restricted Ramsgate and they never looked like scoring IMO. We created three good chances (2 for Rob and, obviously, the goal) as opposed to Ramsgate's one.

Pat was immense in the middle of the defence and thought Haworth ran and ran - 100% effort from him today. A very well-worked goal after a peach of a cross from Deano.

I must admit, was very confused with the choice of the formation but, all credit to Trotty, it certainly worked. Thought Skinns looked in his element, bursting into the box.

What a fantastic day for the pride of Thanet.

Oh, and as an afterthought, great support today - just showed how loud we can be. Shame we didn't hear a peep from the Rams supporters.

Congrats to Mr McCoy who i thought had a good game in the middle, and let the game flow.
Ramsgate MOM Wilkerson the goalie who made 2 good saves that prevented a bigger scoreline, compared to Mitten who was stretched only once, and that was not untill well into stoppage time.
A good attendance, which i understand was your biggest of the season.
Well youve got yourselves back into contention, so good luck for the last 3 games.

Mr Sanderson, thank you for a very considerate post. Your team may have lost on Saturday but they made a game of it. They have done brilliantly this season and you wear your colours well.
